I've been growing this Trecanna hybrid on for a number of years - amongst many other new varieties, it stood out. 'Cornish Copper' bears large coppery-orange flowers with reflexed petals, held on purple stems. The petals are long and narrow, slightly narrower at the base with a burgundy blush. The leaves are narrow and pleated. The wonderful colour prompted me to name it after the many copper mines that used to fill the countryside of Cornwall.
