Trecanna Nursery Crocosmias - Bred at our Nursery in Cornwall

Over the years, we have bred a number of new hybrid Crocosmias. Many do not make it through the selection process, but those that do are then grown on in various locations to ensure that they are durable and able to reliably withstand different conditions.

I am seeking to introduce varieties that are distinctive and sufficiently different from from hundreds of varieties already growing in gardens. The beauty of the blooms is the most important feature, but habit, foliage, flowering period, flowering time and hardiness are all important as well. I'm on the lookout for the perfect Crocosmia, whatever that might be!

Years later, once the stock has increased sufficiently, we are able to offer them for sale - it's a long process...
