This is a unique heritage variety from 1886. Large sulphur-yellow flowers with creamy centres on erect stems are well-presented against a backdrop of bronze-green unpleated leaves. It is one of the loveliest varieties but can be shy to grown and somewhat tender so grow it in a sheltered spot and mulch in winter. It's worth the effort!
