A Trecanna Nursery hybrid, 'Tamar New Dawn' is an elegant bi-coloured Crocosmia with pagoda shaped blooms. It has erect, branched spikes each bearing up to twelve side to downward-facing flowers with slightly reflexed petals in wonderful tones of orange-red and yellow. It has caught the eye of many visitors to my garden, forming a low-growing compact plant so it is good for either the front or middle of the flower border, or in containers. The leaves a green and unpleated.
