Red Admiral Butterfly , Tamar Nature Silhouettes ,
The Red Admiral butterfly is one of the most recognisable of British butterflies with patterns of red, black and white on it's wings. It is one of the species that often overwinters here as a grown butterfly, hiding away in dry sheltered spots such as sheds, wood-piles and stacks of old pots, occasionally emerging on a dry sunny day for a flutter and feed from the few flowers to be found in the winter months.
This charming silhouette is our rusty version of the Red Admiral and will simply hang on a nail or screw in a fence or wall or anywhere that you fancy - or you can also hook it on a support in containers or the flower border. Perfect to adorn both your garden or your windowsill.
